Thank you for a fabulous accommodation in the heart of the trees - it would benefit from a clothes rail as no where to hang shirts dresses etc and the second bedroom has no drawers Unfortunately on our first night it was very windy which brought leaves branches down on all the paths and property -it was a very crunchy walk to the car The response to issues was attentive and quick bit we were left with 2 days of no hot tub which was a shame as we had enjoyed this after long days out I would definitely recommend this property and location Thank you

It was perfect for my songwriting retreat! The birds and wildlife sounds were a great backdrop for acoustic renditions on the spacious deck. I loved how close it was Los Gatos while still feeling relatively remote. I would stay here again! Super responsive hosts, too.

This Airbnb was not only so much fun to stay at, but was truly a home away from home surrounded by beautiful trees and kind surrounding cities. We had so much fun staying here and we would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had an amazing visit to this charming cabin in the woods. Gorgeous trees and views from every room and many outdoors sitting spaces. Full coffee station and well equipped kitchen. Near town but felt very private - truly, a cabin in the woods. The hosts were very attentive. We would love to visit again and highly recommend this beautiful place to others. Many thanks!

I debated leaving a review but it's info I wish I had before booking. First, the host (Scott, not the AI chatbot) was super kind, understanding & proactive about refunds, so it went as well as it could. We arrived an hour into check-in, with someone inside the house carrying a sprayer. He hesitated to tell us what it was for. He asked to finish spraying around the house, leaving the air with an eye-burning mint aroma. It was like having menthol in my mouth. They were understandable that this was a rough start, and we aired the house out for about an hour. The house is cute but clearly older than the photos. Much of the outdoor ambiance was faded but the big trees and the deck were nice. Unfortunately, in the morning, it became clear they had been spraying for rodents. Rats or mice had eaten the fruit we'd brought, leaving poop on the counter next to all our groceries. Huge bummer, and we left immediately. I'm hopeful they will do what's right to fix the issues.

Beautiful place! Perfect getaway for when you want to relax and be amongst nature. The cabin feels very cozy and the bed is so comfortable.

Pros: -beautiful location -well decorated -kitchen equipped for cooking//baking -clean -comfy beds -responsive host and cleaning crew -hot tub! Cons -small maintenance issues: light bulb changes needed, towel rod loose, electrical covers loose -the spiral stairs leading down to the second level feel a little dangerous because they’re small (still really cool but be cautious) -master bedroom needed new sheets -outdoor furniture was very dirty, so we didn’t get to use it :( Location: Los Gatos has nature reserves and a pretty downtown area to go to shops, get coffee, and it’s about 20-ish minutes from San Jose. About an hour from San Francisco if you wanted to do a day trip there. Overall I would book again, especially if the con list is worked on. :)

However, there were several things that were sub-par during our stay: there were no indoor mats to wipe your feet on and during the rain and having a dog and toddler, this made for a very messy situation. The host was very responsive and ordered us extra towels but this wasn’t a great solution. Second, the front door has a dead bolt that would accidentally bolt when you closed the door from the outside which led us to get locked out a few times. Thankfully the same key worked on the side doors so we could still get in. Third, the thermostat was inconsistent and would stop working overnight. With a toddler this made us quite worried about how to ensure the temperature was appropriate and we ended up using space heaters to tide us over. Finally, there was a storm the last night and the power went out and a painting in the kitchen crashed down overnight. It really shocked us but thankfully nothing was broken.

Our stay at The Treehouse was absolutely PHENOMENAL. Everything about this house was exactly what we were looking for in our stay. The home itself exceeded all expectations. Beautiful, quiet property and the home had everything we needed to make our time there comfortable. They did a great job with the decor and little attention to detail while preserving the homes charm. We got some of the best sleep in the quiet retreat; a comfortable bed is a must and they have it! Scott and Jane were thoughtful and wonderful hosts. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

We love finding a gem on AirBnB. I did it for sure with Rhythm and Redwoods. This place was magical and perfect for my family. We love the outdoors. But we love our comfort as well. We felt so at home from the moment we arrived. The Redwoods are so magnificent and magical, that pictures could never capture the whole experience of being with these trees all around you. The whole place was cosy and felt like home. It had everything we needed to both get some work done and then just eat and relax. We LOVED the little downtown in Los Gatos. So many great places to shop and eat. And we really loved being so close to some amazing beaches and local stopping off points. We truly can't say enough great things about this Rhythm and Redwoods.

Incredibly unique and beautiful space. It is private and well cared for. The trees are incredible and I would absolutely stay again

The house is in a beautiful setting, close to Los Gatos, with trees all around and tons of room to hang out on the deck and screened porch. The inside has a cabin feel with living spaces somewhat updated although most of the doors aren’t very secure. Also worth noting the stairs to the second bedroom and bathroom are on a winding, steep and tight staircase. I’d advise checking on any important amenities as a few minor things were missing on our stay. The hosts were very responsive though and tried to remedy any issues.

The Treehouse was a great place to stay! It was everything we hoped for and more. It was peaceful, beautiful and a great spot to get away. The house had so much character and charm in a unique way. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway but still close to great restaurants, Los Gatos and only a 20 minute drive to Santa Cruz.
